Manhunt Underway After Pursuit in Hinsdale Leads to Three Suspects Fleeing on Foot

The driver of the Nissan refused to stop, leading the vehicle into the Thicket Hill Mobile Home Park where the occupants fled.

A police chase culminated in a tense situation on Sunday afternoon, with authorities searching for a suspect who managed to evade capture. The chase began when an officer attempted to pull over a Nissan Rogue on Brattleboro Road between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., as it dangerously passed other vehicles.

The driver of the Nissan refused to stop, leading the vehicle into the Thicket Hill Mobile Home Park. There, the car was abandoned in a driveway, and all three individuals inside — two men and one woman — exited and fled into the adjacent woods. While police were able to find and identify one of the male passengers and the female in a nearby area, the third suspect remains unlocated.

Lt. Raymond Gosetti of the Hinsdale Police Department reported on Monday that an ongoing investigation suggests the remaining suspect has likely left the area. The department is aware of the identity of the driver, although Gosetti did not elaborate on anticipated charges. He assured that there are no public safety concerns related to this incident.

Numerous law enforcement agencies, including New Hampshire State Police and police from neighboring towns such as Winchester, Chesterfield, and Walpole, aided in the search efforts, which involved K9 units and drones. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities or information about the incident to the Hinsdale Police Department as the investigation continues.
